To become a PADI Divemaster, you will build upon the skills learnt in the Rescue Diver course, to become a qualified dive assistant, influencing student diver‘s safety and enjoyment.

During this course, you will learn dive leadership skills through classroom lessons and independent study. You complete water skills and stamina exercises, as well as training exercises that stretch your ability to organize and solve problems as well as help others to improve their scuba.

To start this course you will need the following:

  • Advanced Open Water Diver
  • Rescue Diver
  • First Aid & CPR Training
  • Be at least 18 years of age

After you have qualified as a PADI Divemaster, you will have the ability to travel and work in holiday destinations all around the world. Your roles can include:

  • Organise, conduct and supervise recreational diving activities, both land and boat based.
  • Assist Instructors in conducting Diver programs.
  • Act as certified instructional assistant to PADI Instructors.
  • Teach and certify Skin Divers and Snorkelers
