PADI EFR Course logo

Emergency First Response (EFR) is the fastest-growing international CPR and First Aid training organisation. Dedicated to training the lay rescuer, EFR courses encompasses adult, child and infant CPR skills and First Aid training. The course also features an outstanding First Aid at Work component, meeting (OSHA Guideline 29 CFR 1910.151).

The Emergency First Responder program consists of Emergency First Responder Primary Care (CPR) and Emergency First Response Secondary Care (First Aid). The EFR program incorporates the latest procedures for emergency patient care.

Many divers take the Emergency First Response courses to meet program prerequisites, such as PADI Rescue Diver, or as preparation for becoming a PADI Divemaster. However, many non-divers take the course as it is important to everyday life. People who decide to take this course have taken a significant step in emergency preparedness, and feel confident that they can provide care should an emergency situation arise.
